5 small things to bring on your next trip

Here are 5 small things to bring on your next trip!

Get a watch.

Seriously. In this day in age, we have our cell phones in our pockets. And why not? Using WiFi on a trip is handy, and the cameras on cell phones also have made it as the primary camera for many travelers. This also means a drained battery. You can carry a portable USB battery pack to recharge, but it is extremely convenient to be able to glance at your wrist and see the time. Save your phone battery for those sweet pictures.

Skagen – Klassik leather watch

Face wipes.

I know, it sounds not great, but I assure you it is. I love using a face wipe after getting off a plane. Wiping the travel grime off and feeling fresh is a great way to perk up and energize. They are also convenient for those lazy nights or mornings when you just want to do the minimum and get out the door…or crawl into bed. There are some great face wipes out there! Here is what I use:

URSA MAJOR – Natural ingredients (aloe, witch hazel, willow bark extract, & birch sap)

Lip stuff.

Chapstick, lip treatment, lip gloss, whatever you want to call it, you need it. For long flights, you definitely will feel the dry air circulating in the airplane eliminate any moisture that was once on your lips. Lip treatment can solve that. This is on the expensive side, but I absolutely love Fresh Lip Treatments. They have SPF 15, which is fantastic for those sunnier days, and it lasts a long time. I only apply this a few times a day, and my lips are better for it.

fresh – SUGAR LIP TREATMENT SPF 15 (no parabens/sulfates)

Lens wipes.

I know, more wipes. But hear me out. If you wear glasses (everyday OR sun), you probably have searched for a microfiber cloth with no luck. Or just smeared around the dirt on your lenses. You probably also take pictures (I’m only going to assume, since you are traveling), and stuff gets dirty. And on your lens (phone or camera). Bringing a few lens cleaning wipes will ensure you have the tool to wipe that dirt/smudge off your lens without having to use your saliva.

Diamond Wipes – pre-moistened lens & glass cleaning wipes

Water container.

Water is something you need to consume every day. Bottled water is very expensive, especially if you are traveling for more than a week. Save yourself the dollars (and use it on coffee instead) and bring an empty water container you can fill up.

Hydro Flask – Double wall vacuum insulated

There you have it! These 5 things will make your travels even more enjoyable because you won’t have to worry about a thing. Except for having a great time.
